Han and Annabelle won a contract to create a piece of public art that will serve as a landmark, photo backdrop for passersby, and highlight iconic features of Bellingham at large. Annabelle created the initial illustration, Han made edits to color, layout, and scale. Both organized logistics, proposals, and installed the mural with assistance from volunteers.

Anamorphic Mural

Han and Annabelle won a contract to create a piece of public art that brightens the Commercial Street Alley and makes the space more inviting as a pedestrian path, location for monthly markets, and local businesses. Required an anamorphic design and client requested a typographic element. We chose a palindrome as a playful nod to the fact that while you can technically read a palindrome backwards and forwards, on this mural you can only read it from one specific perspective.
